Mark Gallup is a professional action photographer. He has crossed the planet chasing the powder dream, organizing shoots for the likes of Transworld Snowboarding and Helly Hansen Global. His photos have been published on literally hundreds of magazine covers. He is known for living, documenting and telling great adventure stories.
Beth Gallup is inspired by her work mentoring early stage technology entrepreneurs, has fun teaching Mountain Adventure Tourism students through the College of the Rockies . Her deepest interest is capturing what she sees in her imagination onto canvas, with paint.
Mark and Beth fell in love with the cabin when they first saw it. Old school cedar beams, open layout, surrounded by tall timbers in a quiet area. And, of course, the proximity to hiking and biking trails and Fernie Alpine Resort.
The opportunity to be hosts was part of the appeal. Mark explains, “We’ve travelled all over the world for work and play. We know the value of meeting locals, getting the inside scoop on the hidden gems of a new place. Our favourite thing about owning The Guide’s Hut and Fernie Bike Guides was helping visitors have a great experience. Now we can do that again with homeFARaway.”
