Guest Agreement

Our Guest Agreement is available here as a downloadable PDF . It contains a lot of important information about reservations, deposits, refunds and what to expect during your stay. Please take a look.

Should you decide to stay at homeFARaway– and we hope you will – we must receive a signed copy of the Guest Agreement either a minimum of 14 days before you arrive, or immediately if you book within 14 days of your arrival date.

Your Information: Consent and Use

When you use this website, complete our Guest Agreement and/or post-stay suggestion card, you give us information. Giving us this information means you consent to your information being acquired, used, disclosed and stored by us – your hosts – as described in this Policy.

Our goal is to have a trusted, personal relationship with guests. Accordingly, we will never sell or share your preferences, payment information or email address.

We use your information to keep you informed, and to prepare for and follow up your stay. You are welcome to unsubscribe or change your email address at any time. Just let us know.

How We Store Your Information

Electronic files are password-protected, accessible only by us and a very select other few who might – at some point – require the information to do work we have directed them to do. We are similarly careful with physical files, namely payment information and signed copies of our Guest Agreements.

Cookies Aren't Always Edible

Our site use cookies and related technologies to (1) help you navigate; and (2) help us understand the interests of site visitors. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether to accept it. You can also set your browser to turn off cookies. We are trying our best to ensure our site works without cookies.

Social Media

We may use social media to share information and build relationships with past, present and future guests. Social media accounts are public, not hosted on our server. They have their own terms of service and privacy policies. Definitely review if you have questions about how your personal information is used via these channels.

Changes and Compliance

This Policy is consistent with the Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). If we make any changes to this Policy, we’ll update this website, and the changes will be effective as of the date we post them.
